PROVERBIO

Il proverbio (dal latino proverbiu(m), da verbum “parola” ) è oggetto di studio di numerose discipline: letteratura, sociologia, antropologia, dialettologia, storia delle tradizioni popolari. Il proverbio, o detto popolare, è l’espressione della voce del popolo, guida nel giudizio o nell’operato di ognuno di noi e anche se ormai il suo uso appartiene più al passato che al presente, spesso rispolverarne qualcuno può risultare piacevole e divertente e può farci capire non solo le “leggende” sulle quali si basano alcune credenze popolari, ma anche la storia di quel paese. Molto spesso un proverbio ne contraddice un altro, ma è anche vero che nessuno dei due sbaglia. C’è sempre un proverbio giusto per ogni situazione…provate a cercare quello che fa al caso vostro!

Quite often there are proverbs that contradict others,but that doesn’t mean that either of them are wrong. There is always the perfect proverb for every situation.
